We are a cavaquinho and a pandeiro player in western MA (Northampton/Amherst) , seeking one or two guitarists familiar with the accompaniment of Brazilian choro. (Extra points if you play 7-string!) Once we have a solid working centro for our conjunto we can reach out to potential melody players. Our goal at first will be to build a repertoire and perhaps do some light local gigging, just for the pleasure of spending some time with each other and this music.
